Can I upload the same document to different detail views?

Yes, you can upload the same document to the Deal, Organization, and Person detail views.

If you are not able to do so, it's probably because that type of document was not setup that way by your admin.

In this picture, the Admin has allowed Project Plans to be added to Organizations and Deals, but not to Persons.
